As another incredible summer season begins to wind down, I ' d like to take a moment to thank everyone who participated in our Parks and Recreation programs and events. It has been wonderful to see our parks, playgrounds, and facilities filled with families, friends, and neighbors enjoying everything our community has to offer.
This summer was packed with exciting activities for all ages. From youth sports programs to fitness classes, water aerobics, community events, concerts, and special family activities, there was something for everyone. None of this would have been possible without the support of our dedicated staff, volunteers, instructors, sponsors, and, most importantly, our residents who continue to make our programs such a success.
Seeing children make new friends, families create lasting memories, and neighbors come together is what Parks and Recreation is all about. Thank you for making this another memorable summer season.
While many of our summer programs are ending, there ' s still time to enjoy one of our favorite seasonal amenities, the Brentwood swimming pool! The pool will remain open through Labor Day, Monday, September 7, so don ' t miss your chance to cool off, relax, and soak up the last days of summer. Whether you ' re swimming laps, spending the afternoon with family, or simply enjoying the sunshine, we invite you to visit before the season ends.
As we look ahead, our Parks and Recreation Department is already planning an exciting lineup of fall programs and events. Be sure to look for upcoming information and announcements in the coming weeks. We look forward to continuing to provide opportunities for recreation, wellness, and community engagement throughout the year.
