Entry Doors
( Part 3 of a Four-Part Series)
Welcome back to my series on windows and doors. Through these articles I am hoping to give you the basic information needed when it comes time to replace your windows or buy a new door. For this article I would like to talk a little bit about entry doors.
Today’ s entry doors are a far cry from the low-quality wooden doors of the past. Older doors were often poorly insulated, drafty, and needed to be maintained to work correctly. Modern doors are built much better. Most doors now are made of high-grade steel or durable nomaintenance fiberglass with significant insulating value and a tight seal against the weather.
