The Baldwin-Whitehall Educational Foundation has grown significantly in the past few years thanks to the investment of community partners around the country and the support of Baldwin High School alumni .
4 Reconnecting with Alumni : The Baldwin High School Class of 1971 gifted a $ 1,000 scholarship as part of their fiftieth reunion weekend . " We wanted to do something for those following 50 years behind in our footsteps ," said Capt . Robert Conrad , U . S . Navy ( Ret .). " Ideally , it can be a snowflake that rolls into a snowball over time . Perhaps this will help inspire the classes behind us ."
4 New Scholarship : The Jeffrey J . Eiben STEM Scholarship presented by River Point Technology was established to recognize students ' outstanding efforts in science , technology , and communication . This opportunity was created through the generosity of Mr . Jeffrey Eiben , 1988 graduate of Baldwin High School and owner of River Point Technology , a Pittsburgh IT consulting firm .

4 Investing in the Future : BWEF created nearly $ 15,000 in innovation grants value this past year , awarding grants to eleven different instructors .
