KEYNOTES MUSIC SCHOLARSHIPS
Help support Keynotes music scholarships , which are available to Allegheny County musicians and vocalists , by joining in its Annual Luncheon & Fashion Show on Saturday , Sept . 17 , at St . Clair Country Club in Upper St . Clair . This annual fundraiser starts at 10:30 a . m .
In addition to the lunch and show , festivities will include live music , a raffle , baskets and a local artist with shopping available . CALLING ALL ANTIQUE RADIO ENTHUSIASTS !
The Pittsburgh Antique Radio Society ( PARS ) preserves historical communications equipment and entertainment media , which have ties to the Pittsburgh area . There are 150 members and they meet eight times per year . The September , October and December meetings will be held at the Brentwood Presbyterian Church , 3725 Brownsville Road . They also hold events throughout the year , including a holiday luncheon .

BALDWIN LOG HOUSE , CIRCA 1830
The Shultz family farm was located on Willett Road in Baldwin , and the property featured an 1830 log cabin , believed to have been built by the Willett family . In 2003 , it was donated to the Baldwin Historical Society , which moved the log house by dismantling and reconstructing it next to the municipal building .
You may view the cabin at 3344 Churchview Avenue during regular municipal building hours . There is no regular schedule of tours , but you may arrange a guided tour by contacting the Baldwin Historical Society president , Pat
ESCAPE TO THE EDWARDIAN ERA !
West Jefferson Hills and Elizabeth Historical Society will host The Titanic Tea and Fashion Show ! It will be held Oct . 22 , with high tea being served at 1 p . m . The gorgeous fashions from this elegant era will be showcased .
The event will be held in the Community Rooms of the West Jefferson Hills Municipal Building .
Tickets will be available from Sept . 1 to Oct . 8 at the Jefferson Hills Library , the Pleasant Hills Library , and at any West Jefferson Hills Historical Society program or event .
Tickets for society members are $ 25 and $ 30 for non-members . A special presale for members only will be held at the historical society meeting on Aug . 24 . There is limited ticket availability , so get yours early for this fun afternoon that benefits the great work of the historical society .
