SOMETHING FUN FOR
TEENS ON FRIDAYS
Each month we will offer various fun
activities involving games and food!
Check out the Event Calendar for all
exciting activities.
BOOK CLUBS FOR ADULTS:
PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN:
Ages 0-18 months – Thursdays at
10 am - Book Babies, a sweet story time
with rhymes, songs, books, and more!
Ages 18 months-3 years – Thursdays at
11 am – Toddler Tales, an active and
interactive story time that includes
making a craft and/or free play.
Ages 3 -5 years – Tuesdays at 10:30 am
– Let’s Learn! Parents drop off their
children for this hour-long program that’s
aimed at readying them for Preschool
and Kindergarten.
Ages 0-5 years – Mondays at 11 am –
Musical Monday, a festive time of singing,
doing motions, playing instruments, and
dancing.
Grades K-5 – Wednesdays at 3:30 pm –
Elementary School Fun!
1st and 3rd weeks of the month are
Building Club – fun with LEGO, Magna
Tiles, Lincoln Logs and Keva planks!
2nd and 4th weeks of the month are
Kid’s Club – crafts, games, science, and
more!

Cook’s Book Club – meets the 3rd
Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm –
discuss cookbooks and eat a shared meal.
Mystery Book – Mystery/thriller book club
that meets on a Tuesday afternoon at 1 pm
every six weeks.
A Novel Book Club – We run the gambit
in our selection of books and meet every
six weeks on Monday evenings at
6:30 pm.

For Adults: Join us every Monday-
Thursday from 10 AM to 12 Noon for
complimentary coffee and tea and good
conversation!
Colorful Art – Meets every other
Wednesday at 10:30 am opposite Game
Day for an hour of coloring. Supplies are
provided.
Bingo! – Come play for free! A light
lunch is offered. Happening the 3rd
Thursday of each month at 2 pm.
Classic Movie – Tuesdays at 2 pm. Take
a walk back in time!
Game Day – Every other Wednesday at
11 am opposite Colorful Art. Brain games
and social interaction in a party-like
atmosphere. Check our Event Calendar
for dates.
Movie Mondays - Mondays at 2 pm.
Have a snack and watch new releases.
Patron Birthday Party- 2nd Wednesday
of each month at 10 am. Come celebrate
with us!
Pittsburgh Poetry Exchange – First
Monday of each month at 7 pm.
Sit and Fit – Tuesdays at 9:35 am. DVD
workout of guided chair exercises.
Steeler Sundays – Watch Steeler games
on our big screen TV during the season
when games start at 1 pm.
Wise Walk Indoors - Tuesdays at 9 am.
DVD workout of low impact walking-in-
place exercises

Come in and shop when the

Yoga Flow – Tuesdays at 7 pm Yoga for
beginners. A small donation is requested
for the instructor. Bring a mat and water.

Saturday, October 12th Antiques
Appraisal Fair – Sponsored by the
Brentwood Historical Society; bring in your
antiques and collectibles.

October 10th @ 9 am- 1 pm AARP
Driving – 2-Day Course that must be
attended to get insurance credit. Register
and pre-pay in the library.
Monday, October 21st @ 6:30 pm
Author Talk with Daniel Lowe. His debut
novel, All That’s Left to Tell is a comparison
of Room meets The Crying Game: a
haunting, luminous debut novel about a
man and his relationship with his daughter,
his captor, his past, and his future.
Friday, October 25th @ 3 – 4:30 pm
Hallow TEEN Party! Celebrate Halloween
with games and activities during this
special Friday teen program.
Saturday, October 26th @ 6 – 7:30 pm
– Family Halloween Party! Come in
costume to play games, do a craft, hear a
story, and have a snack. Register online,
in person or by phone call.
Family Story Time (Fire Station Visit)
