n Gardenville Area Sanitary Sewer Project
This DEP mandated project to remove wet weather stormwater flow from the sanitary sewer system began on
August 6, 2018. The $3.1 million project will last for over one year and will be completed sometime in September of
2019 with the street resurfacing to follow after most of the work is wrapped up by the end of September 2019
n 2018 Road Program
This project is only about 40% completed and includes the following streets within the Borough:
• Port Way – Mellott to Borough Lineo • 1st Street – Penn to Middle
• Michael Drive – House No. 1239 to Edward Dr • Lane Way – Penn to Baldwin Drive
• Wildwood Avenue – Churchview to Harmening • Steiner Street – Mary to Borough Line
• Meadowvue Drive – Barthwood to Cul-De-Sac • Mellott Road – Churchview to Vernon
• Elm Leaf Drive – Wallace to Kathleen
This work is anticipated to be completed by late September or middle of October.
n Colewood Park Ph. II
This project is scheduled to begin by mid- August and completed by October of this year. The contractor will be
installing a 55 space parking lot on the south end of the new soccer field (at the end of Overland Trail) along with
storm sewer collection and conveyance system, a walking trail around the new lot to the newly installed 25 space
parking lot on the Colewood end of the field, a new 10 foot high fence installed along the western edge of the field
(stream side) and grading, seeding for a new multiuse field on the Overland Trail end of the site.
n Cathell Road Slide Repair
This project has been recently awarded and will begin by September and be completed by the end of October for
reopening of the roadway to full two-lane use.
n New Library Construction at Leland Center
Construction has begun. For updates on this project please visit the Baldwin Borough Library Site at

n Streets Run/Doyle Road Bridge work
The State started this work at the end of the school year on June 8 and will have the roadway reopened by the start
of school at the end of August.
