The Borough continues to invest in and prepare for its future.
The Borough continues to learn and grow from taking on
these major projects and doing a majority of the engineering
and project management in-house in order to save on costs
and stretch those dollars to include as many projects as we
can.
Here is the list of projects that Brentwood Borough will
complete in the year of 2018.
2018 Capital improvements projects include:
1. Road Resurfacing Program (Anticipated to take 1
month to complete by contractor Mele&Mele&Sons,
Inc.) Approved list of the roads for paving and road
rehabilitation this year include the following:

1. Brentwood Borough Public Pool rehabilitation will begin in

• A section of Woodrow Ave.
• Brightside Way from Farson Way to Angle Way
• Burdine Ave. from Brownsville Rd. to Wainwright Ave.
• Farson Way from Brightside Way to Bellanca Ave.
• Hardy Way from Kaplan Ave. to end of that street
• Knoepp way from Laveton St. to end of that road
• Old Clairton Rd. from RT51 to Brownsville Rd.
• Pyramid Ave. from Sankey Ave. to Waidler Ave.
• Sankey Ave. from Brownsville Rd. to Churchview Ave.
• The end of Olancha Ave.
• Threnhauser Dr.
• Towne Square Way from RT51 to Brownsville Rd.
• Vida Way from W. Bellecrest Ave. to Fallert Way
• Willowhaven Dr. from Kestner Ave. to Greenlee Rd.
2. An improved and new Borough Building will be
constructed at the intersection of Hillman St. and
Brownsville Rd.
2. Year 3 of the Borough’s Sidewalk Cost Sharing
Improvement Project (under contract with CTM
Construction, Inc.) will continue with the success from
last year. The following areas will be eligible this year for
the program:
• Brevard Ave.
• Burdine Ave.
• Cloverlea St.
• Dalewood St.
• Elton Way
• Grayson Ave.
• Heathmore Ave.
• Lanmore St.
• Pentland Ave.
• Pyramid Ave.
• Sankey Ave.
• Towne Square Way
• W. Brentridge Ave.
• Waidler Ave.
3. Sanitary and Storm sewer CCTV and repairs to maintain
and improve infrastructure will continue throughout the
Borough.
4. Wanley Rd. culvert project
5. New Brentwood walking trail
6. Storm water management improvements
