WHAT’S NEWS IN BRENTWOOD-BALDWIN-WHITEHALL BRENTWOOD MEALS ON WHEELS NEEDS YOU! Brentwood Meals on Wheels serves meals five days a week to those who can’t cook for themselves. For the last 45 years it has served the local communities of Brentwood, Carrick, Baldwin, Whitehall and Pleasant Hills from the kitchen at Brentwood Presbyterian Church. The meal pack consists of a hot dish, milk, bread, sandwich, salad, fruit and dessert, delivered with a smile straight to the client’s door. Volunteers don’t leave food if they don’t see the clients. The organization’s expenses include not only food and supplies, but rent for kitchen space, insurance, payroll and repairs. It is funded by clients paying $6 a day and private donations, and receives no federal or state funds. The only paid employee
