AHN has been recognized as having the region ’ s fastest growing labor and delivery program in western Pennsylvania .* In 2016 , we delivered over 7,300 babies across West Penn , Forbes , Jefferson , and Saint Vincent hospitals . Each labor and delivery unit has a neonatal intensive care unit NICU for critically ill infants to receive highly specialized care including two Level III NICUs that care for those babies who need it most .
