The objectives of the Brentwood Borough Maintenance and Management Plan is to establish a system applicable and useful to the Borough of Brentwood that will provide a sign inventory and management system that balances the needs of safety for road users and pedestrians. The Borough will begin strategically replacing signs degraded below minimum required levels in a safe and cost-effective manner.
The Borough continues to invest in and prepare for its future. The Borough continues to learn and grow from taking on these major projects and doing a majority of the engineering and project management inhouse in order to save on costs and stretch those dollars to include as many projects as we can. One such area will be with doing a better job of informing the residents of these many projects. To assist those that will be directly impacted by the above projects, the Borough will be setting up a Capital Project section on the Borough’ s web site to list the progress, contractor information, contact information, project schedule as well as any issues to keep everyone informed.
Thank you all for your cooperation as we continue to improve the Borough of Brentwood as well as the process.
