The Municipality of Bethel Park will kick off the 2021 Holiday Season on Wednesday , December 1 at 6:45 p . m . with a modified version of the annual event - following safety procedures for all . KIDS HOLIDAY WORKSHOP

Bethel Park Recreation is offering a FUN holiday workshop for boys and girls ages 5 – 11 yrs at the Community Center . Come join us for holiday crafts , games , movies and snacks . You must register by Wednesday , December 1 for this workshop . PARENTS : This provides a great chance for you to get some last minute shopping done without the kids ! When : Saturday , Dec . 4 from 1p . m . – 3p . m . Fee : $ 15 Location : Bethel Park Community Center

BETHEL PARK RECREATION SWIM LESSONS

Both Group and Private lessons are offered at Bethel Park High School indoor pool .

Session Dates : January 29 – March 12 , 2022

Registration : January 22 , 10 a . m . – 10:45 a . m . at Bethel Park High School Pool for all swimmers needing skill testing . Call 412.831.1328 for additional information

GROUP LESSONS – offered for 6mo . and up with 45 minute lessons , Saturdays for 6 total lessons

PRIVATE LESSONS – offered for ages 5 yrs – adult Saturdays for 6 total lessons

SIXTH ANNUAL GINGERBREAD HOUSE CONTEST

Smells of Gingerbread in the Air … Bethel Park Recreation is pleased to announce the SIXTH season of our Community / Family traditionan annual Gingerbread House Display ! Individuals , families , and groups are welcome to submit their “ Masterpiece ”.

Please , help us to create a beautiful Holiday display at the Bethel Park Community Center .

DELIVERY DATES : Mon & Tues , Nov . 30 & Dec . 1 from 9 a . m . – 8 p . m . DELIVERY LOCATION : Bethel Park Community Center

REGISTRATION :

Display space is limited so please register no later than November 19 to reserve a spot for your creation . Registration Forms are available at the Community Center or can be downloaded from our web site at www . BethelPark . net . Call 412.851.2910 for more information .

We are also suggesting a $ 5 * donation from each participant ( entry ). Donations will be collected when you register . This year ’ s Donations will be shared with the local “ Adopt a Family Program ”.

JUDGING

Judging will take place on December 2nd . Trophies will be awarded during Light Up Night . Please remember that the judging is subjective : and takes in to account the following items Originality , Difficulty , Overall Appearance & Neatness and that the majority of decorations are edible
