Everybody did their best to try and hit a hole in one on the 11th to win a new Mitsubishi Eclipse. GOLF OUTING RAISES $16,000 FOR FOUR BETHEL PARK CHARITIES W hat do you get when you add 67 golfers, 81 diners, 18 holes of golf and an afternoon of fun and fellowship? You get $16,000 for the Bethel Park Fantastic Four Charities—The Bethel Park Community Foundation, The Bethel Park Education Foundation, The Bethel Park Historical Society and The Bethel Park Library. The four groups combined their energies and efforts to host a Golf Event at Nemacolin Country Club on a sunny Monday in October to benefit four entities that support and celebrate all things Bethel Park. The event was organized by lifetime Bethel Park resident and owner of Evey True Value Hardware Andy Amrhein, and a capable committee comprised of Judge Ron Arnoni, Lindsay Crowley, Bill Haberthur, Christine McIntosh, Caitlin Metzler and Tim Moury. In addition to 18 holes of golf, the outing also included a brunch before teeing off, a dinner following, and several games of chance, including a 50/50 raffle, Chinese auction and a game where 10 66 BETHEL PARK lucky individuals had the opportunity to win a new set of golf irons and a bag. Golfers also had the chance to win $10,000 and a new Mitsubishi Eclipse with a hole on one on the 11th, but unfortunately, nobody won the prize this year. Maybe the car will be driven home by some lucky golfer when the next outing takes place on Monday, July 29 at Nemacolin Country Club! Golfers also had chances to win prizes for holes in one on two other holes at the course. The event’s success also depended on the generosity of Gold Sponsors Brentwood Bank, Evey True Value Hardware, Lady Di’s Hair Design, Peak Energy, Wade Trim, and Pat Manning and The Chiurazzi Law Group; Silver Sponsors Dr. Joseph Pasquerilla, Britney Hollick State Farm Insurance and Giant Eagle in Brentwood Towne Square; Hole- In-One Sponsors Tucker Arensberg and South Park Mitsubishi; Beverage Cart Sponsors Santel Landscape and Design, and Jones Lang LaSalle; Registration Sponsor Arthur J. Gallagher; and Tee Sponsors Judge Ron Arnoni, South Park Shops, Wade Trim, Bethel Park Public Library, Choice Tobacco, Bethel Bakery, Hillman Fasteners, Brian Homes, Metz Culinary Management, Bethel Park Lions Club, East West Manufacturing and Supply, Law Office of Sam Moore, Cool Springs, Miller’s ACE Hardware, Mizr Print Management and Brookside Lumber. Please mark your calendars and plan to join everyone for the Second Annual Bethel Park Fantastic Four Charities Golf Outing on Monday, July 29, 2019 at Nemacolin Country Club. Details for how to get involved will be coming in 2019, but if you can’t wait, please see someone on the Organizing Committee for more information. See you there!
