MEET THE KEYSTONE CHORUS
“ We ’ re the men of the Keystone Chorus !”
Hailing from Bethel Park , this chorus is an all-male a cappella group , and has been singing songs in the barbershop style since 1957 . Members range in age from 10 to 91 and come from all walks of life : retired doctors and contractors , working tech and medical professionals , amateur singers and musical professionals ... just to name a few !
The repertoire continues to grow and now includes not only barbershop classics like “ Goodbye , My Coney Island Baby ,” but also some renditions of more widely known tunes such as “ Route 66 .”
Each August , the chorus performs an annual show as part of the Dean Streator Summer Concert Series . In addition , they will perform at local retirement centers , community events and fairs , personal celebrations , an annual holiday show , and more .
If you love to sing , love harmony , or just love music , you are encouraged to join a weekly rehearsal . The chorus members are confident you will learn , grow , laugh , smile and have great fellowship with other music lovers !

LABOURÉ LADIES GUILD OF ST . CATHERINE LABOURÉ PARISH TO HOLD ANNUAL FLEA MARKET
The Labouré Ladies Guild of St . Catherine Labouré Parish will hold its annual flea market , “ Timeless Treasures ,” from 9 a . m . to 5 p . m . Friday , July 19 , and 9 a . m . to 1 p . m . Saturday , July 20 , at St . Louise de Marillac Church in the LeGras Parish Center ( lower level ), 320 McMurray Road , Upper St . Clair .
Sale items will include jewelry , gently used children ’ s clothing to size 6 , toys , decorative items , knickknacks , kitchen items , holiday decorations , linens , tools , books , some furniture and much more . There will also be a boutique offering better-quality items .
MCDONALD ’ S RESTAURANTS ACROSS THE TRI-STATE AREA TEAMED UP WITH THE PENGUINS FOR A CAUSE
Fans of the Pittsburgh Penguins found a new way to cheer on the team while also supporting an amazing local charity . And it scored in a big way !
At the beginning of the NHL season , McDonald ’ s restaurants across the tristate area teamed up with the Pens for a limited-time promotion : co-branded cold soft drink insulated sleeves . Local Mickey D ’ s sold the sleeves for $ 6 and a portion of the proceeds benefited Ronald McDonald House Charities ( RMHC ) of Pittsburgh and Morgantown .
The grand total ? $ 60,000 to support families who travel to Morgantown and Pittsburgh seeking lifesaving care for their children .
RMHC provides a home away from home for those families so they can focus on their children ’ s recovery .
“ I ’ m so pleased this promotion raised significant funds to underwrite the vital work RMHC is doing in the community ,” said McDonald ’ s owner / operator Art Alamo .

NEW RENAISSANCE THEATRE SHOWS
The New Renaissance Theatre announced the “ unscripted ” Shakespearean plays it will be presenting for the 2024 season , “ Much Adoe About Nothing ” and “ Twelfe Night , or What You Will .” This group performs unrehearsed Shakespeare ( oftentimes with hilarious results !) at open-air spaces all around the Pittsburgh area .
This year ’ s tour will run from June 21 through July 14 . Watch the schedule to see where the troupe is performing , and catch one of the free shows !
