At Julia James Salon, the mission of helping each client remember how to love themself begins with greeting each guest with warmth and a smile when they walk in the door. Owner Samantha Glunt knows that first impressions matter, a lot. She insists that the first impression be genuine and caring. While it may be a small gesture, Glunt believes that it’s the little details that add up to create an experience for clients that’s more than just cutting hair. She decided to open her own salon after their birth of her daughter last year. “It was the right time. My husband and I made a preliminary plan when driving home from a long trip. Once we set that initial expectation, we just kept going. And we did it! Owning a salon has always been a goal of mine.” A frequently asked question is how the salon was named. “We decided to name the business after our children’s middle names, which is where ‘Julia James’ comes from.” With a New York salon feel and plenty of space for wedding or bridal party experiences, Julia James is a one-of-a-kind salon where you can be yourself and feel great about your look. “We want you to love yourself.
