Day Camp 2018
8 Weekly Sessions Jun 11, 2018- Aug 3, 2018 Ages: 6yrs to 10yrs The Recreation Summer Day Camp Program, for children ages 6-10, will provide FUN experiences to spice up your child’ s summer! Day Camp is divided into week-long sessions with activities developed around a different central theme each week. The FUN culminates each Friday with an exciting local field trip!
The all‐day program is from 9 a. m. to 3:30 p. m. The morning only session is from 9 a. m to Noon. The afternoon session is from 12:30 to 3:30 p. m. For working parents we offer an optional early drop‐off of 7 a. m. and an optional late pick‐up time of no later than 6 p. m. You have the choice of attending morning only, afternoon only, or all day.
We’ re excited to be bringing back a number of returning counselors who will be providing many activities in the areas of arts, crafts, sports, combined camp activities, and weekly field trips

8 Weekly Sessions Jun 11, 2018- Aug 3, 2018 Ages: 11yrs to 14yrs Don’ t be bored this summer! Have some summer fun at the Bethel Park Community Center! We’ re excited to be bringing back a number of returning counselors! Activities at camp include sports, arts & crafts, swimming, and field trips. Themes and activities will vary weekly. Each camp week wraps up with a FUN Friday field trip!

SPECIALTY SUMMER CAMPS
Theater Camp for Kids
Ages: 6-10 Monday- Friday, July 16- 20, 1:30-4 p. m. Fee: $ 60.00 per session
Students will enjoy playing creative theater games, to improve character development and improvisation skills, voice projection and enunciation skills. Students will also focus on performing in skits / a short play to practice their new skills.
Silly Science
Ages: 2-6 Monday – Thursday, 9:15 a. m.– 11:45 a. m. Session 1 June 11- 14 Session 2 July 30 – August 2 Fee: $ 95 * Additional $ 20 supply fee due to the instructor on first day of camp
Scientists will be actively engaged in creating, playing and learning different concepts in science in this interactive, hands-on camp with an added art twist.
Karate Camp
Ages: 6yrs and up Monday – Friday, June 25- 29, 2 p. m.– 3 p. m. Fee: $ 45
Karate camp is a great way to introduce new students to martial arts in a fun, easy to learn setting.
Instructed by Sensei Wallace, a 9th degree black belt instructor.
Art Camps
Up Up and Away With Art Ages: 6 and up Monday – Thursday, June 25-28, 1:30‐3:30 p. m. Fee: $ 85. + $ 10 Material fee due @ camp start
“ Diggin” Dino’ s and Raptures with Art Ages: 4 – 8 years Monday – Thursday. July 9-12, 1:30‐3:30 p. m. Fee: $ 85. + $ 10 Material fee due @ camp start
Campers will enjoy spending time outside doing field sketching, playing games and getting inspired by our natural world. Artists will take home a finished piece of artwork every day.
Lady Hawk Basketball Camp
Grades: K-8 Monday- Thursday, July 9- July 12, 9:00‐11 a. m. Fee: $ 85.00, 2 nd Child Fee: $ 50.00
Join the Lady Hawk Team and Staff for a funfilled week of camp this summer! Learn the basics of basketball, compete, and have fun.
Bethel Park Boys Basketball Skills Camp
Grades: 1-8( for the 2018-19 school year) Monday – Thursday, June 11- June 14, 9‐11:30 a. m. Fee: $ 100
Campers receive instruction on individual basketball skills such as: shooting form, rebounding, ball handling, passing, and defense.

Musical Theater Camp for Kids
Ages: 7-13 Monday- Friday, June 18- 22, 1:30-4 p. m. Fee: $ 60.00 per session
The children will learn various theatre games, vocal and body warm ups to gain their confidence on the stage. Campers will learn music with the piano, simple dance combos and the excitement of acting on the stage.

Ages: 7 – 12 yrs Monday – Friday, June 18 – 22, 9:15 a. m,– 12:15 p. m. Fee: $ 135
Campers join an online game that teaches programming as campers recognize the patterns and sequence structures involved in writing a line of code.
Fizz, Boom, Bang!
Ages: 5-12 yrs Monday- Friday, July 16- 20, 9:15 a. m. ‐12:15 p. m. Fee: $ 135
Shake up a flask of fun in the lab as a junior chemist! This hands-on and interactive program of chemistry is packed solid with cool reactions.
