tripped up this year’s spellers included “determine,” “establish” and
“influence.”
Jesse won by correctly spelling “independence.” He will now
advance to the Rotary’s Regional Spelling Bee which will be held
in June at Seven Springs, where he will compete against other
Rotary Third Grade Spelling Bee winners in the area. Good luck in
that event, Jesse!
The Spelling Bee is a natural tie-in for the Rotary Club, as each
year they give all Bethel Park Third Grade Students a dictionary
that is theirs to keep.
Thank you, Rotary, for your generosity and congratulations to
all of our Spelling Bee contestants for doing a great job!
