education through leadership,
community building, innovative use of technology, creation of
partnerships and impact on learning.
He received the award in February at PAECT’s annual
conference.
Mr. Reyer was recognized for his many accomplishments at
Bethel Park, including his work to bring the TRETC Conference
to Bethel Park High School in the fall; participating on the RWAN
Re-Bid and Steering Committee; his efforts to bring the 1:1
Technology Initiative to Bethel Park; his work with Google Apps
and Safari Montage, and moving the district forward with the new
student information system.
“I am deeply honored to be presented the PAECT CTO of the
Year Award,” said Mr. Reyer. “Many of the projects I have worked
were team efforts. My part was not always the largest or the most
important on these teams. It is truly because I work in a district
which supports my efforts to participate on committees involved
in regionally relevant work that I accept this award on behalf of
the Bethel Park School District and community.”

Area School Study Council at the 68th Annual School Board and
