The new Bethel Park High School opened on January 30, 2012, eight months ahead of schedule, on a plot of land across the street from the former eight building, campus-style high school that was constructed in the late 1950s. The new, four story building was designed in zones, so that public use areas could be separated from classroom spaces and allow multiple activities and events to be accommodated without overcrowding. Classrooms were organized in a way that would be flexible for future educational objectives.
