K ati Lightholder has already experienced success in her young entertainment career, and she, along with her husband Blake Lightholder, are now moving on to their second web series, called “Jack & Emma.” A Bethel Park High School graduate of 2000, Lightholder went on to study communication arts, with an emphasis in video production, at Allegheny College. Her husband, Blake, graduated from Canon-McMillan High School in 2000 as well, and then went on to study communication and business at Grove City College. Kati has already found success in the entertainment industry when she produced a web series called “The Mercury Men,” back in 2007 which was later picked up by SyFy.com. But that was not enough for her. With her early success, she has continued to hone her artful craft, and has most recently joined up with her partner in life, as well as in entertainment, to create a new project. For the past year, Kati and Blake Lightholder have been writing and producing their new web series called “Jack & Emma,” marking the first time that the Lightholders have worked professionally together. Seeing as they work well tackling the obstacles of life and marriage in the real world, they decided they would team up in the entertainment industry as well. “We had never worked on anything together before, and it has proven to be an amazing experience with an occasional heated creative discussion,” said a joking Kati. Her “occasional” reads more like “frequent,” but she believes that their pairing has been a good combination in all aspects of their lives together. She touts that Blake’s background and skill in writing, combined with her background in producing and acting, have led to a good combination of skills that they will utilize in “Jack and Emma.” The Lightholders started creating “Jack & Emma” to combat the entertainment industry’s flux of crudeness that seems to entail a significant amount of sexuality and violence in to
