MARCHING BAND PERFORMS AT HEINZ FIELD FOR STEELERS / RAVENS GAME

The Bethel Park High School Black Hawk Marching Band accepted an invitation from the Pittsburgh Steelers to perform at the Sunday, December 10 Pittsburgh Steelers / Baltimore Ravens game at Heinz Field!

The band braved the extreme cold temperatures to not only perform on the field for the Pre-Game and for nine minutes during Halftime, but the Band also arrived extra early so they could perform on Art Rooney Avenue during the tailgating time!
Many long-time season ticket holders made it a point to either speak with the students, Directors or Booster parents to let them know how much they enjoyed the band’ s performances.
The Band’ s performance brought the Steelers some good luck, as the Steelers went on to defeat the Ravens on a last second field goal!
The musicians didn’ t seem to mind the cold!
Game winning kicker Chris Boswell joins the BPHS Marching Band on the field. Was that an omen for good things to come for the Steelers?
