Mortland Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine has provided comprehensive treatment to a wide variety of patients with orthopedic conditions, ranging from high school and collegiate athletes to of his patients benefits from the same specialized treatment he delivered to professional athletes and Olympians during his 16-year tenure as Head Trainer and Physical Therapist for the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Mortland team also includes physical therapists Rebecca Campbell, PT, DPT, SCS, and Nicholas Lopez, PT, DPT. Campbell earned her doctorate of physical therapy from Regis University in Denver, CO, after earning her bachelor of science in Science-Business from the University of Notre Dame. Lopez is a graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University, where he earned his doctorate of physical therapy, and Shenandoah University, earning his bachelor of science in Biology. The staff also includes physical therapist assistants Jim Love and Christine Renz. Love graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor of science degree in Kinesiology and California University of Pennsylvania with an associate in applied science. Renz graduated from California University of Pennsylvania with an associate degree in applied science. Office manager Carol Stasicha rounds out the Mortland staff. ATHLETIC CLUB Mortland Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine offers memberships to the adjoining Peters Township Athletic Club. The club promotes health and fitness to residents throughout the South Hills, offering an extensive range of fitness equipment and certified trainers to help members achieve their fitness goals.
