STAR PARTY

Friday , September 16 Presentation begins at 7 p . m .

Location : Millennium Park , 5900 Baptist Road , Bethel Park FREE !!

Come and enjoy a night of viewing the stars , planets , galaxies and nebula ! Our night will begin with a presentation from our own local Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh . Listen to what can be seen in our own galaxy the “ Milky Way ”, plus galaxies that are millions of miles away .
After the presentation , all guests will be invited to look through the telescopes of volunteers — with current safety precautions . Explanations of what is being viewed will be given along with answering of any questions that are asked .
First timers will be amazed at what can be seen . Returning individuals will enjoy another view of the wonders of the universe .
Do you have a telescope , but aren ’ t sure how to use it ? Bring it along and members of the Astronomers Association will help you get set up and started using it properly ! Bring your binoculars if you have them . You don ’ t need a telescope to enjoy the night sky . Star hopping techniques to find galaxies , nebula and interesting stars will be shown to those who ask .
Bring blankets or chairs , bug spray and flashlight ( with red light )

JUMPBUNCH PLAY TO BE FIT - PRE-K
Ages : 3 - 5 yrs $ 75 resident Fri ., Sept . 16 – Oct . 21 , 6 weeks 12:30 – 1:15 p . m . So much fun with games and activities to build coordination , balance and confidence .
FIT KIDS
Ages : 5 - 8 yrs $ 25 resident Mon ., Sept . 12 – Oct . 17 , 6 weeks 6 – 6:45 p . m . Play games , run races , bounce , skip , hop , jump and laugh your way to being a fit kid !
KARATE FOR KIDS
Ages : 6yrs and up $ 65 resident plus uniform Tues ., Sept . 20 – Oct . 25 , 6 weeks 6 – 7 p . m . Students will be taught tradional Korean Martial Art , Tang Soo Do by instructors from CS Kim Martial Arts . Uniform fee $ 35 due to instructor at first class .

Ancient Chinese practice comprised of simple , efficient and effective movements to help stress , heal physical and emotional pain and enhance quality of life . Similar movements to T ’ ai Chi , yet simpler .
PHOTO PRESERVATION & ORGANIZATION
Ages : 18 & over $ 12 resident Thur ., Sept . 15 or Tue ., Nov . 8 , 1 night 6 – 8 p . m . Learn how to organize and clean up your photo collections from print , albums , digital photos on phones , computer , etc .
