Trax Farms Celebrates
50 th Annual Fall
Festival This Season
I
f you’ve never been to Trax Farms for its annual
Fall Festival, then this should be the year you
make a point of going. For 50 years Trax Farms’
Fall Festival has been taking the chill out of
autumn weekends and providing guests with
activities to keep the whole family entertained.
“We kick off the Fall Festival season with Fire
and Flannels,” said Ross Trax. “Fire and Flannels
will take place on Sept. 21 st , from 3 to 7 p.m. This
event includes a hayride to the top of the hill,
where there’s a corn maze, bonfire, live music,
and games. Guests can stop in our Craft Beer
6-Pack Shop or our Arrowhead Wine Shop to
purchase a beverage to enjoy on the ride up
. The following weekend formally starts
Fall Festival; Fall Festival takes place
every Saturday and Sunday starting
Sept. 28 th , continuing through
Oct. 27 th .”
Every weekend during Fall Festival,
Trax Farms features different musical
acts, the challenging corn maze,
hayrides, bounce houses, food trucks,
pumpkin picking and more. Hayrides
also run throughout the week on
Wednesday and Friday evenings starting
Sept. 25 th from 4:30 to 7 p.m., Wednesday
night hayrides are extra special with Hops
and Hayrides.
If you are at the farm for all of this fall fun, you might as well
check out what else Trax Farms has to offer. In need of all things
fall? Trax Farms has you covered with fall
decorations, squash, gourds, pumpkins,
mums, apples, cider and in-season produce.
Trax is your one-stop shop for all things
autumn. While a large amount of the fun at Trax
Farms is weather dependent, Ross Trax said rain
typically isn’t an issue for guests.
“We have three covered wagons for the
hayrides to keep people dry,” he said. “If we need
to shut down the hayrides, we will, but we’ll keep
them running as long as it’s not a downpour.”
Trax is also booking for fall tours. Fall tours are
geared toward preschoolers through second
graders, but open to everyone. Tours start
on Sept. 23 rd . Groups should pre-schedule
their tours as soon as they can because
demand is always high. The 1-hour tour
includes a hayride, a talk about produce,
a bee lecture, a glass of apple cider and
a pumpkin to take home. Trax routinely
has 4,000-5,000 guests tour the facilities
each year.
“It’s a great opportunity for kids
to get out and see a working farm,”
Ross Trax said. “It’s the best kind of
education for them because it’s hands-
on and it’s tons of fun.” For more information on Trax Farms,
