STAR PARTY! CANVAS CRAZINESS
Saturday, September 28, 7:15pm – presentation begins
Millennium Park upper ball field - 5900 Baptist Road
Cost: FREE
Amatueur Astonomers Association of Pittsburgh volunteers will provide
a guided tour of the sky with a short astronomy program presentation
followed by guided viewing of the sky through telescopes. Bring binoculars
if you have them, along with lawnchair/blanket, bug spray and your
curiosity.
SCIENCE FUN NIGHT!
Friday, October 25 Show begins at 7:00pm (Doors open at 6:30pm)

Cost: $5.00 per person
*Purchasing tickets in advance at the Community Center is recommended.
Tickets may be purchased at the door if space allows.
Start your weekend off with a FIRE & ICE show presented by Mad Science
of Pittsburgh. Be dazzled and entertained with foggy dry ice storms, the
power of air and even a chemical flashlight. Children will interact with
the Mad Scientists and learn about chemical reactions, air pressure and
the states of matter. After the show, visit hands on science stations to
make Mad Science Halloween Putty, Lego creations with SNAPOLOGY and
something special with Miss Kathy from Silly Science.
LASER LIGHT DANCE PARTY
Saturday, December 28

Cost: $7 per person in advance / $10 at door if available.
Tickets available mid-October.
Continue the holiday season fun with a laser light, glow in the dark
dance party for all ages! This high energy event features great music,
professional laser lights and lots of glowing fun!
6:30pm – 8:30pm PAJAMA DANCE PARTY – Designed for younger
dancers (perfect for families and younger dancers up to 12 yrs old).
Come dressed in your favorite PJs and dance the night away.
9:00pm – 11:15pm 80s/90s DANCE PARTY –Dress the part in your
favorite 80s or 90s fashions to dance and groove. Show off your
best Moonwalk, Macarena, Cabbage Patch, Sprinkler and Carleton
moves!! Neon face and hair painting will be available. Put your name
in laser lights for a small fee. A proven favorite event for any age.
Fee: $25.00 per night
1 day, Thur, 6:15pm-7:45pm
Ages: 6 – 12 years
It’s the kids turn to have a fun night out painting! Bring your favorite snack
and join us to create your own awesome painting on an 11 X 14 ready to
hang canvas. Each 1 night session will have a completely different theme.
All supplies are included.

Children grades K-5 will enjoy their winter break with Jump Start Sports!
Days include a variety of fun & active sports and games as well as
traditional camp activities. Give your kids days of being active and playing
with friends instead of listening to “I’m so bored!”. Choose only the days
you need or the full 4 days. Fees for before and after camp are a flat rate
total fee that covers 1 or multiple days. Campers must wear comfortable
athletic clothing/shoes and bring lunch and water bottle daily.
