Following a game where he pitched a complete shutout, he was offered a minor league contract with the Tennessee Twins. Dobnak pitched for the Twins for four weeks and was promoted to the Cedar Rapids Kernels, where he began the 2018 Minor League baseball season as a starting pitcher.
