Bethel Park High School held its Awards and Recognition Program for the Class of 2016 on June 1 , with several students recognized for academic and athletic achievement .

• Antonio Esposito and Rebekah Thompson – Dr . Thomas Knight Memorial Scholarship
• Emily Augustine and Sean McClaine – Valedictorians Additionally , 144 students who earned
301 scholarships worth almost $ 4.4 million , were presented with certificates in recognition of their achievement , and 182 students were presented with honor cords for graduating with QPAs of 3.5 or higher . Red cords were given to those students with a QPA between 3.5 and 3.74 ; silver cords were given to those with a QPA of 3.75 to 3.99 and gold cords were given to those with a QPA of 4.0 and above .
