The INC World Nut & Dried Fruit Congress , took place from May 22- 24 in London . It offered a valuable platform for engaging in discussions about the issues affecting almonds and the wider global nut sector . Damien Houlahan , Director of the Australian Almond Board ( ABA ), represented the Australian almond industry and shared its perspective during the almond roundtable at the event . The key message conveyed was that the reduced almond crop should lead to improved pricing , as the balance between global supply and demand levels out . The industry update session

With a turnout of 40 guests , this session provided a valuable opportunity to foster trust , build confidence , and strengthen relationships within the industry . Despite the uncertainty caused by the crop reduction , it was encouraging to witness the robust demand for Australian almonds that was exhibited by customers worldwide .
