As you can see, there are so many painpoints in the current design and journey for both
the waste collectors and throwers. After clustering all the painpoints and insights, we
have come up with 5 big opportunities to help us generate ideas.
1. UNIFORM & TOOLS
HMW provide a new set of uniform and
tools for collectors so that both their daily
functional needs as well as psychological
needs are met in a cost efficient manner?

HMW communicate and educate the public
in a more human and contextual way?

2. BIN DESIGN
HMW create a new garbage bin that
enables throwers to throw their garbages
in a more pleasant way and in the same
time be seamless for collectors to collect
the waste.
5. TRIGGERING ACTION
HMW trigger public to take action when
it comes to throwing and recycling waste
beyond just possessing the knowledge?
3. ACCESSIBILITY OF BINS
HMW help garbage throwers find and
access the bins they need easily instead
of walking blindly or throwing (recyclable)
waste in the wrong place?
6. MINIMIZING GARBAGES FROM SOURCE
HMW encourage public to minimize waste to
ease pressure in our waste infrastructure?
