KNOWLEDGE
• Very passionate in achieving zerowaste lifestyle
• Recently through social media highlight has brought up his
awareness, eg. return unused straw, bring his own shopping bag
• Main source of information from TV news and newspapers
• Knowledgeable about recycle bins color by a slogan promoted
by HK government, and other campaigns which taught her tips on
preparing recycle recycling items eg. wash bottle/cans, remove
staples from magazine before recycling
ACTION
Waste disposal
• Rarely dispose in regular garbage bin.
• Makes great effort to reduce waste from source by bringing her
own bottle, shopping bag and cutlery set
Recycling
• Recycles all sort of things including paper, plastic, metals, bottle
glass, excessive clothing
• Does extra preparation before recycle: remove staples from
magazines, clean all bottle and cans
• Avoid obtaining any single used items – plastic bags for umbrella,
plastic cutlery, straws
THINKING & FEELING
• Self satisfaction is her main drive, it has become a daily habit for her
• Hong Kong as a whole is not improving at all in past few decades in
terms of people’s mentality and infrastructure and this makes her sad
• Lack of respect from others as they think her actions are adding
more workload to them for example mall staff who forced her to
use the plastic umbrella cover and staff who refused to give her
less proportion in fast food chain
• Use herself as example for other people to follow but will not
actively educate or influence others as she thinks she needs to
respect other people’s lifestyle
