KNOWLEDGE
• More conscious when he was in UK and Scottland
• Recently through social media highlight has brought up his
awareness, eg. return unused straw, bring his own shopping bag
• No knowledge about recycling bins colors, or type of bins
ACTION
Waste disposal
• Mostly during weekend when bringing son around the city, when
getting food or drinks on street
• Holding on to trash until he sees an orange bin, don’t matter if it is
recyclable or not
Recycling
• Will only recycle when there is a recycle bin around
• In London, where he used to live, government have clear
regulation and provide color bins and bag and collect separately,
so he separated all his trash
THINKING AND FEELING
• Accessibility and convenience are two most important thing for
him when it comes to garbage disposal
• He doesn’t trust the process. He thinks there is no point
separating garbage as he don’t expect them to be collected
separately anyways
• there is no regulations in HK on recycling unlike UK where he
lived. He thinks HK government is not take it seriouslygovernment
taking it seriously
