" The Kimberley Ennis Foundation is committed to building a better healthcare system where everyone has access to quality, compassionate care. Nurses are central to this mission. Supporting The Foundation of the National Student Nurses’ Association, Inc. and Nursing Education
“ My aunt Evelyn Hann died in 1938 at age 19 from tuberculosis at Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Louisville, Kentucky. The facility provided housing for nurses who lived on site, some of whom also lost their lives to TB. I created this scholarship to honor Evelyn, who passed away just as her adult life was beginning. This FNSNA scholarship acknowledges those nurses and reminds new nurses at the start of their learning journey that their role is vital: to recognize patient needs, provide care and comfort, and deliver evidence-based treatments that truly matter— even at the end of life.”

New Endowment Established by FNSNA Trustee
The Rose Marie & Jones Craig, Sr. Memorial Endowment was established in 2025 by FNSNA Trustee Dr. Deborah Lewis and her brother Jones Craig, Jr., in
honor of their parents. Dr. Lewis’ s passion and dedication to our mission inspired her second endowment to ensure funding is available for aspiring RNs.
