NSNA Announces the Council of State Presidents Planning Committee
The NSNA Council of State Presidents Planning Committee plans and conducts the Council of State Presidents( COSP) meeting at the MidYear Conference and Annual Convention. The COSP Committee responsibility is to discuss the priorities of the association, activities for the year, accomplishments, problems and to share ideas. The committee allows for the interchange and consultation between state presidents, the NSNA Board of Directors, and staff( see NSNA Bylaws).
The Planning Committee members include one representative from each of NSNA ' s election areas( north, south, east, and west) and the NSNA President. One COSP Planning Committee member is elected as chair of the committee and also serves as an Ex-officio member on the NSNA Board of Directors from now until March 30, 2027. The remaining three COSP Planning Committee members serve from now until October 29, 2026.
The election was held on April 7, 2026, for the regional area representatives. The results of the election are as follows:
