EDITORIAL

Dear NSNA Members,
As another incredible school year ends, we want to congratulate all of those graduating this year. You are stepping into a profession filled with endless opportunities for leadership, mentorship, advocacy, and lifelong learning. While the journey through nursing school is not always easy, it is one that shapes compassionate, resilient future nurses who will make a meaningful impact within their communities and beyond.
To our new members, welcome to NSNA! We are so excited to have you join our organization and become part of this supportive and inspiring nursing community. We hope NSNA provides you with resources, connections, and opportunities that help you thrive throughout nursing school and beyond.
Thank you for reading Imprint magazine. Imprint is for you! Created to highlight your stories, celebrate your accomplishments, and support you throughout your nursing journey. Through scholarship opportunities, student reflections, professional development resources, and collaborative articles with healthcare professionals and nursing organizations, we hope to inspire growth, curiosity, and connection among our readers.
This issue of Imprint celebrates the journey of nurses in progress, from students discovering their passions and participating in local nursing conferences to professionals continuing to evolve within specialty practice, leadership, advocacy, and education. See highlights from the NSNA Annual Convention in Houston, Texas, explore opportunities for scholarships and professional growth, and hear authentic reflections from both nurses and students. Featured topics include oncological nursing, mentorship in nursing school, professional identity and personal development, and overdose emergencies.
We hope this issue leaves you feeling inspired by your fellow students, educators, and healthcare professionals. We also hope it encourages you to become more involved within your student nursing chapters, participate in future NSNA events, and even consider submitting your own work to Imprint. We are always excited to share the voices and experiences of our members.
The nursing journey is both challenging and rewarding. As nurses in progress, we encourage you to continue seeking opportunities for learning, leadership, service, and personal growth. Your experiences, perspectives, and dedication are helping shape the future of nursing every day.
Happy reading,
Lauren E. Tickner Imprint Editor
