Inspired by her family’ s background in healthcare, she developed a passion for serving others through compassionate, patient-centered care. Growing up in a rural community strengthened her commitment to advocating for accessible healthcare in underserved areas. Sydney is passionate about leadership, patient advocacy, rural healthcare, and evidence-based practice, and she continues to grow through clinical and leadership experiences as she prepares forher future nursing career.
Lexis L. Pokorny is originally from Falls City, NE, where she graduated from FallsCity Sacred Heart. She is currently preparing to graduate from Bryan College of HealthSciences with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Lexis is passionate aboutproviding compassionate, patient-centered care and is dedicated to continuing to growher clinical knowledge and nursing skills. Emma Swanda is a senior nursing student at Bryan College of Health Sciences studying for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Growing up in the small town of Tecumseh, NE, she developed strong values of community, resilience, and service to others. Her academic interests include critical care and evidence-based practice, with a focus on improving patient outcomes through safe and effective nursing interventions. Through her education and clinical experiences, Emma continues to strengthen her skills in patient assessment, communication, and critical thinking while striving to make a meaningful impact in healthcare.
