Foot Care Nurse
Foot Care Nurses are specialists who are able to recognize skin issues , nail disorders , and other limb conditions that can indicate other health conditions such as diabetes , peripheral artery disease and coronary or arterial disease .
n RN , BA degree or higher n Certification exam CFCN ® through WOCNCB
n 24 CE / CME credits specific to foot care ; 40 clinical hours under the direct supervision of expert in foot care n CFCN ®
n Acute Care / Hospitals , Outpatient Clinics , Home Health , Community based organizations , Long Term Care , Hospice Care , Skilled Nursing facility , Podiatry Office and Private Practice
CFCN is recognized in CMS . The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services ( CMS ) specifies a Registered Nurse that holds a CFCN may perform services eligible for Medicare benefits .

Forensic Nurse
Aid investigations into deaths , sexual crimes , and abuse / assault situations . Involves collection of evidence , knowledge of the criminal justice system and an affinity for detail-oriented skills .
