Mount Mary University Student Nurses ’ Association ( MMU SNA ) found joy in giving back this year . MMU SNA members dedicated two full weeks to fundraising via the Kids2Kids Toy Drive , during which they collected toys to support local families through the holiday season . Once all of the donations were collected , they volunteered for a day on December 8th to sort through the donations and pick toy lists for the different families and charities that Kids2Kids serves . In total they were able to donate 186 toys to Kids2Kids !
With the help of volunteers and donations , all toys collected were distributed to children in need through 30 different charities serving children and families throughout Southeastern Wisconsin , that
work continues to showcase the leadership potential within the nursing profession as they brought hope and joy to those in need . Organizers included the MMU SNA Board of Directors : Maggie Zuehlke , Bailey Krimmer , Courtney Hirsch , Ashlee Gierach , Jenny Gibbs , and Suzan Dawood .
Nursing Students Association of New York State – New York may not otherwise have a Christmas .
