Happy Holidays everyone and welcome to another wholesome year ! As we reflect on the previous year , I hope we all learned something valuable and ended the year with more growth and understanding than we started with . I ’ m super excited to see what this year has in store for us all . So , farewell 2022 and hello 2023 . I pray these first few weeks are off to a positive and healthy note . Serving in my final term as director and chair , on behalf of NSNA , I would like to thank you all for sticking with NSNA through the trials and tribulations of COVID-19 . We hope you will continue to let us be a part of your journey through this year and many more to come . Remember we are a community that supports each other and we are here for all our members , both past and present !

Weingarten Leader of Leaders award nominations is February 15 , 2023 . This award is sponsored by Michael S . and Carol Toussie Weingarten , and is presented to an outstanding dean , faculty advisor , or state consultant who demonstrates distinguished support and service to nursing students .
The deadline for the following program awards is March 7 , 2023 : Core Values , Ethics and Governance , Health Policy and Advocacy , Population and Global Health , Empowering Resolutions , Breakthrough to Nursing , Image of Nursing , Disaster Preparedness , International Photo Contest , State Convention Planning , Newsletter , Website , Social Media , Ambassador , and the Robert V . Deadline for Constituency Make sure that you visit the convention website to get the most up-to-date information about the 2023 House of Delegates . All school and state chapters must apply for constituency status every year . To qualify , school chapters must have a minimum of 10 members on the NSNA roster ; state chapters must have a minimum of two constituent schools . These requirements must be met by the cutoff date of February 15 , 2023 . The
Official NSNA Constituency Application must be completed and submitted online annually prior to the Annual Convention .
