Their dedication to nursing helps the FNSNA to address the current nursing shortage , allowing more nursing students to graduate on time and enter the nursing workforce .
Scholarship Sponsors Continue Their Overwhelming Support
The FNSNA has appreciated a long-standing relationship with Johnson & Johnson . This extraordinary sponsor has continued to demonstrate their commitment to nurses through the outpouring of financial support for diversity within the nursing profession . As part of the Our Race to Health Equity Initiative , Johnson & Johnson funded over $ 500,000 in scholarships for Black , Indigenous and People of Color ( BIPOC ) students through the Foundation of the National Student Nurses ’ Association . Additionally , the BandAid ® Brand Champions for Health Equity division provided $ 150,000 to support future black nurses . •

Does your school chapter have a project that addresses an NSNA Resolution adopted within the last five years ? If so , then a faculty advisor can apply for a leadership development grant for the 2023- 2024 academic year . Two grants , the Marilyn Bagwell and 3M™ Littmann ® Stethoscope Leadership Development Grants , of up to $ 2,500 each , will be awarded to official NSNA chapters for a project that seeks to address a recent NSNA Resolution and develop leadership skills within the nursing student body . Additionally , the school recipient of the 3M™ Littmann ® Stethoscope Leadership Development Grant will receive a limited supply of stethoscopes for use by the school chapter .
