Ryan Bannan , BSN , RN , CCRN , began his nursing career five years ago in the ICU of a community hospital in Atlanta , GA . Ryan earned a BSN from Georgia Baptist College of Nursing of Mercer University . Ryan served as NSNA President from 2015- 2016 . Since starting work as a travel nurse with his wife in December 2020 , Ryan has gained a renewed passion for bedside patient care and believes his move into travel nursing saved him from burning out of the profession entirely .

Brandi Borden , BSN , RN , began her nursing career in the Trauma ICU at a Level One Trauma Center in New Orleans , LA . Brandi earned a ADN from the Charity School of Nursing in May 2019 and a BSN from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in December 2021 . Brandi served as the 2020-2021 NSNA President and currently serves as the 2021-2023 Secretary of the Louisiana State Nurses Association .
