Keynote Speaker NSNA is excited to welcome Dr . Sally Karioth as this year ’ s keynote speaker ! Dr . Karioth has taught more than 25,000 students in her nearly 50-year career at Florida State University ( Including mentoring Myron Rolle in his receiving the prestigious Rhodes Scholarship ) – a number that amazes and delights her . A member of the FSU faculty since 1970 , she is best known for her long-running class “ Death , the Individual and the Family ”, which attracts students from all disciplines . She has also spent 20 years teaching in the FSU London Summer Program , and recently added a London spring break program . n
