vetted by the American Holistic Nurses Association , and I advocate that all people , especially healthcare professionals , have routine access to health coaches for their own needs . Using them personally would bring about awareness of the benefits and the return on investment . I believe we need coaches embedded in our practice settings to help us manage a valuable resource , namely , our health and well-being , just like we have accountants to help us manage our finances . I believe I am coming full circle in my trajectory as an educator in always advancing in a sphere that I am interested in . By applying the pillars of professional identity , I hope that we can continue to leverage our knowledge and embrace in a proactive way to sustain our leadership , knowledge , values , and ethics , and professional comportment in health care . n
