The Promise of Nursing Regional Scholarship Program Thirty-three fundraising events , sponsored by Johnson & Johnson ’ s Campaign for Nursing ’ s Future were held from 2002 until 2017 . Funds were contributed by hospitals , healthcare agencies , nursing schools and by Johnson & Johnson to support gala nurse recognition dinners . Scholarships for undergraduate nursing students ; fellowships for graduate students studying to become nurse educators ; and grants distributed to nursing schools are administered by the Foundation of the National Student Nurses ’ Association . Undergraduate scholar recipients are from the following Promise of Nursing regions : Arizona and Texas .
