2022 Undergraduate Scholarship Program How to Apply
• Once you begin your application , you will receive an email with instructions on setting up your Kaleidoscope ( online scholarship application platform ) account . Setting up this account will allow you to log back into Kaleidoscope to continue working on your application .
• Required documents completed by your school . ( Forms available on website ). ( Faculty Member Certification Form , Financial Aid Certification and Unofficial transcripts ).
• Start the application and complete at a later date by the deadline .
• All applicants will be notified in April . Deadline : February 11 , 2022 , midnight EST . Scholarship funding is up to $ 10,000 per academic year and may only be used for tuition , books and academic fees .
BAND-AID ® BRAND Champions for Health Equity Scholarships For more than 100 years , BAND-AID ® Brand has developed innovative healing solutions and supported those who are putting care into the world .
Through the BAND-AID ® Brand Champions for Health Equity Scholarship , the brand is strengthening its commitment to elevating Black healthcare professionals with the goal of increasing representation and contributing to more equity in the nursing profession .
The scholarship is a multi-year commitment of $ 150,000 over the next three academic years . This year , funds were awarded to seven Black nursing students who graduated spring 2021 .

“ As part of Johnson & Johnson ’ s Our Race to Health Equity initiative , Johnson & Johnson has funded over $ 500,000 in scholarships for Black , Indigenous and People Of Color ( BIPOC ) students through the Foundation of the National Student Nurses ’ Association . We were proud to provide scholarships to 61 of the over 2,300 applicants , who will play a key role in creating a world where health equity is a pillar of our society and our healthcare system .
2020 showed us , more than ever before , that having welltrained and well-supported nurses is key to the health of our society . However , in a country with incredible racial health inequity — where Black Americans have shorter life expectancies than white Americans — the need for equipped nurses is especially high in communities of color .
One way that Johnson & Johnson is working to eliminate health inequities for people of color is by investing in creating a diverse healthcare professional pipeline , including increasing BIPOC representation among nurses . These scholarships are one part of a multi-pronged strategy to ensure access to high-quality and culturally competent health care for all .“
In 2021 , Johnson & Johnson established the Andrea E . Higham Memorial Nursing Scholarship in memory of a beloved employee who made a difference in the lives of countless nurses . Andrea was a passionate , driven advocate for nurses and the nursing profession . During her many years at Johnson & Johnson , she was the driving force behind the launch of the Campaign for Nursing ’ s Future from 2002 to 2017 .
The campaign inspired more people to join the profession and funded millions of dollars in grants , scholarships , education and training , mentoring , platforms and advertising to elevate and support nursing .
A key element of Andrea ’ s work was establishing a longterm partnership with the Foundation of the National Student Nurses Association , raising over $ 15 million to support scholarships and grants for students , educators , and schools of nursing . She placed high importance on nursing education and making it accessible .
