Call for National Anthem Video Submissions Each year , the NSNA Annual Convention kicks off with the singing of the National Anthem . This year as we take the NSNA Convention virtual , we want to see the talent that NSNA members have to offer . That is why we are calling on all singers within the NSNA membership to submit a video of themselves singing the National Anthem . The winning video will be shown during the Opening Ceremony of NSNA ’ s 69th Virtual Convention on Tuesday , April 6 , 2021 from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm EST .
All we ask is the following :
• Be Original . Be Creative .
• Individual or group videos welcome .
• The US flag must be present within the video in some way , shape or form .
• Patriotic attire may be worn
• Only . mov or . mp4 videos accepted

State Board Position Vacancies Are you having difficulty filling your board positions during virtual conventions or canceled conventions due to COVID-19 ? You are encouraged to keep a minimum of an executive committee : president , vice president , secretary , and treasurer . Check your bylaws to determine if there is a bylaw that permits the executive committee to make decisions when a full board is unable to meet or if the decisions cannot wait until a full board meeting . If there is nothing specific , and your bylaws direct you to refer to Robert ’ s Rules of Order ( 12th edition ) for guidance , then you can use the guidance of Robert ’ s . This gives you the ability to keep your bank account in place , file tax forms ( i . e ., 990 ), and remain a constituent of NSNA ( and thus collect dues ). This is a temporary method of maintaining the association during this time of crisis . NSNA staff will assist you in communicating with your members and guidance in holding elections .
