Growth
Lately , Danielle is growing so fast that it is mind blowing and is often a challenge to get a good picture of her . She has two little bottom teeth coming in , can crawl with the best of them , and has moments where she will talk and talk . When she does her talking , it is somewhat comcical when Nikki nor I can pinpoint what it is she is asking for . We ’ ll look at each other and try to recreate her sounds and motions - ocassionally we get it right .
As new parents , we want to make sure we are providing a home atmosphere that welcomes growth and creativity . We give Danielle room to explore so that she can create her own life experiences and learn from them . For instance , she understands that when she swipes her finger across an iPhone or iPad , that something should happen on the screen . Or she seems to understand what a book is and that it has pages that can be turned - even though she will listen to her book for two seconds , then try to turn the page herself .
Life is just like this scenario . We as Christians have to grow spiritually day after to day to help ensure we are becoming the person that God can be proud of . God likes to create an atmosphere that allows us explore his Word as a child explores something new , bright eyed and bushy tailed .
Danielle helps add new perspective to the scripture that references coming to Christ as a child . Since infants start off not knowing anything , they are able to approach everything as a new experience . A new opportunity to learn and grow . God wants us to do that for him ... he wants us to have child like faith to know that we can truly do all things through Christ .
