I am honored to address you as the newly appointed President of the Live Oak Chamber of Commerce alongside our dedicated Board of Directors and Chamber Staff . Together , we are committed to serving as a strong voice for our business community and fostering a thriving environment for all .
Our great city of Live Oak , with its vibrant businesses , enchanting heritage , and welcoming people , deserves our best efforts to continue its growth and prosperity . And the Chamber , as we know , plays a pivotal role in driving this progress .
First , I would like to sincerely thank my predecessor , Hannah Skinner , for her leadership , commitment , and tireless work in the past years . Her efforts have undeniably put us on a path of success and progress , and it is now our responsibility to carry on that momentum .
As we move forward , our mission is simple yet powerful : strengthening and promoting economic vitality in our community . I believe in an inclusive approach , fostering a supportive environment for businesses of all sizes and sectors . Be it the small retailers that give Live Oak its unique charm , or the larger corporations that bring large-scale jobs and investment , each of you plays a critical role in the tapestry of our local economy .
In the coming year , we will focus on improving engagement with our members , making your voices heard , and ensuring that your needs and concerns are addressed effectively . We will also expand our advocacy , education , and networking efforts to provide you with the resources and support needed to succeed in a rapidly changing economic landscape .
Collaboration and partnership will be at the heart of our strategy . Together with our community leaders , local government , and non-profit organizations , we will work to create synergies , promote innovation , and drive initiatives that will benefit all Live Oak residents .

On behalf of the Suwannee County Chamber of Commerce , I would like to welcome you to our town . Suwannee County is an outstanding place to live , work , and grow a business . Whether you ’ re visiting for the day , looking for a new place to call home , or you ’ re already a resident of our thriving community , Suwannee County is a quaint community with a big heart and plenty of opportunities . Our rich history dates back to 1878 , and the Chamber was established in 1948 to advocate for and support the prosperity of Suwannee County and its area businesses .
It is an exciting time to be a member of the Suwannee County Chamber of Commerce . We are always creating new networking and promotional opportunities to help our member businesses succeed and grow , including space to advertise on the Chamber website , business referrals , monthly networking opportunities , and continuing education . We continue to partner with our local government and other organizations to pursue improvements in the overall quality of life for the city , county , and region , particularly in the areas of transportation , education , healthcare , tourism , economic development , community development , and workforce development . Our success in achieving our mission and purpose is due to a collaborative effort from the Chamber Board of Directors . The Chamber is very fortunate to have a wide-ranging , diverse , and community-minded group of individuals , whose mission is to help our businesses succeed . Each one of them volunteers their time to help serve you and to help provide the tools necessary to grow your business .
To our current Chamber members , thank you for your continued support .
