The 73 rd Annual Chamber Gala Live Oak ’ s Biggest Bash

While the Christmas on the Square celebration and Business of the Year dinner managed to evade the pandemic and continue without a hitch , the everpopular Chamber Gala couldn ’ t withstand the wave of event cancellations brought on by the coronavirus . Nevertheless , the beloved night isn ’ t completely scrapped for the year – not really . This year , the 73rd Chamber Gala will combine with the 2021 Business of the Year for one major event .

The Gala and the Business of the Year dinner , will take place Saturday , October 9 at Camp Weed . The affair , sponsored by First Federal , Economic Development and Riveroak Technical School , is set to maintain its usual sta- ples like photo booths , silent auctions and live music featuring performances by ’ 80s rock cover band Hair Daze and intermissions covered by DJ Matt Johns .
Genovese Terry with Epic Designs and Rentals , who was responsible for the enchanted outdoor décor of 2020 ’ s Gala , will take over the decorations once again for 2021 . Her decision to break from a black and gold color pallet and opt for a more whimsical design with flower-speckled centerpieces and mystical tree carvings was unforgettable and her choices for this year ’ s event are sure to be just as captivating .
Likewise , Katie Croft of 11th Street Kitchen is set to cater the event once again . Her menu the previous year consisted of a cocktail hour complete with appetizers like mini lump crab cakes with roasted red pepper remoulade , ham-wrapped asparagus , mini artichoke cups and mini
