In 2020 , hundreds of thousands of lives were changed for the better . Your unwavering support allowed us to pivot quickly when the pandemic struck , addressing people ’ s urgent needs related to health , safety , and survival .
These are just a few of the accomplishments that your support made possible :
Yet , even as we provided humanitarian support to those who needed it most , our commitment to education never wavered . We were determined to keep students engaged and learning remotely , ensure teachers in remote areas remained employed , and upgrade schools to make them safer and more hygienic for when classes resumed .
