MILESTONES Art Kehe founds Kehe Foods, which operates from his home’s basement. His first employees are his wife and children. 1983 Kehe Foods moves into office space in Addison, Illinois. 1975 Art retires and his son, Jerry Kehe, takes over the reins of the company. 1952 Late 1970’s-2010 1995 Kehe Foods moves into a 500,000 square foot National Headquarters and Ware- house in Romeoville, Illinois. 2000 KeHE becomes an ESOP 2010 Kehe Food Distributors changes name to KeHE after purchasing Tree of Life & Peters Imports 2007 Brandon Barnholt joins KeHE as President & CEO. 2013 2014 KeHE purchases Nature’s Best expanding national distribution capabilities. 4000 employees.
