@ GA _ Corrections educators and students from across the state came together for an informational session on Distance Learning . Thanks to grant funding , students in multiple facilities can now access content-specific teachers thru virtual education sessions .
As schools throughout the nation learn to instruct virtually , @ GA _ Corrections teachers have partnered with Georgia Virtual School to train our educators on how to effectively educate offenders through distance learning .
During August 2021 , @ GA _ Corrections officially became an online GED testing site ! Thanks to our dedicated staff and partners for making this happen .
